The Real Significance of 12/12/12

The Scriptures are absolutely clear on what today is all about. The following medley of verses should help to put our minds at ease on what God intended this day to be:

Psa. 95:6 ¶ Come, let us worship and bow down,
Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.
Psa. 95:7 For He is our God,
And we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand.
Today, if you would hear His voice,
Psa. 95:8 Do not harden your hearts, as at Meribah,
As in the day of Massah in the wilderness,

Heb. 3:7 ¶ Therefore, just as the Holy Spirit says,
“TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE,

Heb. 3:8 DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS AS WHEN THEY PROVOKED ME,
AS IN THE DAY OF TRIAL IN THE WILDERNESS

Heb. 3:13 But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

Heb. 3:15 while it is said,
“TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE,
DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS, AS WHEN THEY PROVOKED ME.”

Heb. 4:7 He again fixes a certain day, “Today,” saying through David after so long a time just as has been said before,
“TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE,
DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS.”

Heb. 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
